While keeping its appearance of origin, we renovated this house (2005) using ecological materials and integrating up-to-date the technological innovations.
All insulation is made by organic hemp (slabs, coated, crawling of roof). Paints, wax and oil are organic. Distempers were realized with whitewash, beer or milk.

2009 – The number of energy-saving bulbs rose from 70 % to 80 %
2009 – Thermal diagnose made to find out the improvements to be done. Improvement following this diagnose with the closure of fireplaces by trapdoors, insulation of the pipes of the warm water circulator.
2009 - Change of the dishwasher and the tumble-dryer for A energy class ones.
2010 – Pump installation in the close by village well in case of the drying out of our rainwater reserve and accessibility for neighbours.

We made sure that no circulation of water passes under the beds.
There are no magnetic buckles in the rooms.
Light lamps of red colour are available in the rooms not to disrupt your sleep cycle.
